Friday Harbor Labs – PAID summer research – 2/1 deadline

For the past 15+ years, University of Washington’s Friday Harbor Laboratories has provided paid summer research internships to many students.

Starting in 2010, Dr. Adam Summers and co-PI  Emily Carrington have received funding from the National Science Foundation to establish an REU site (Research Experiences for Undergraduates) for summer internships at Friday Harbor Labs.   Now more than ever, we want to receive applications from motivated students who are interested in pursuing a career in the marine sciences.  Additional information can be found at:

The application deadline is February 1.  Students from ethnically underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.
