For those of you interested in learning more about the undergraduate Minor in Global Health, a career in the field, or meeting the staff and faculty involved in the Minor (and having your questions answered), please consider joining us at the first of our monthly mixers:
When: Friday, December 3, 2010
Who & What: James Pfieffer, Associate Professor in Global Health and Health Services, will share his experiences and advice about careers in global health. Dr. Pfieffer will host an informal conversation with interested students about his work, the Department of Global Health, possible career pathways, and important educational choices for those seeking to pursue a career in this field.
Time – 2 opportunities:
1. Professor Pfieffer will deliver a seminar lecture as part of the regular Global Health Seminar class, G H 500, from 12:30pm – 1:50pm.
2. From 2pm-3pm you will have an opportunity to talk with Professor Pfieffer about his career in global health as well as hear from us about the Minor in Global Health.
You are invited to attend either or both events.
Where: Both the seminar and lectures will be held in the Turner Auditorium, room D-209, which is in the Health Sciences Building on south campus.
